The Jazzman was made by Kuang Dyi Co.,/Feng Dyi Enterprise Corp., and distributed by L&D Trading in 2001. Originally sold at the price of $19.99, He wears a tuxedo and hat and holds a saxophone. When the button is pressed, The Jazzman "Can Sway his body with "Sax" Music Standing or Squating" and plays "Surrender" by Dave Koz. Other companies have contributed to the Jazzman Fad such as NB Toys, YS Toys, M.T., Xing fa, Xing an, and B&D Just to name a few. The Sax mold for the Jazzman is a royalty free Mold commonly seen on the M&Ms Blues Figure.

In 2004, Major Trading Inc. was sued by Capitol Records for the sales and distribution of the Jazzman due to the use of Surrender within the item. However the trial has since concluded and it is unknown if the manufacturer ever received any legal repercussion. Kuang Dyi has made other items in the same series as this, such as: Rock&Roll Guitarist, and Action Santa. They have also made more obscure items such as Action Halloween and Lovely Doll. Most Kuang Dyi items are within the 3346 box code, with some alphabetical letter after. If your item says F.O.D it's also by them. Some of their earlier items (most likely prior to 2004) say the company by name, (KuangDyi) while their newer items all have C09-3346 written on the board.
